Dreams, desires and goals can sometimes feel like…well, dreams. Dreams that we can’t possibly fathom as to how we will accomplish them. Especially God-dreams.
They seem so big, so impossible. You might even find yourself wondering if they are truly attainable.
Let me tell you something, they are. They absolutely are.
You CAN accomplish what you were created to do. You are meant to.
I believe there are things laid in place to help us accomplish the things God has called us to do. I know I’ve seen it happen in my own life and I believe that you can too.
Today, I want to share three things I did to accomplish my business dreams that you can do in order to accomplish yours!
1. Invest before you are "ready"
In other words, I invested before I had the finances. I didn’t just invest in anything and everything. And I didn’t do it unwisely. I gave myself a budget based on the money I was making through my full-time job and I invested in things that would help me get to where I wanted to go. A lot of times we tend to view things in the opposite way. We tend to think “when I have money” or “when I have more money I will…” But the biggest lesson I learned when it comes to finances in business is that you have to invest if you want to make more. For example, I invested in my first employee before I really had the budget. But I did it because I wanted to make more money. And guess what? I doubled my revenue one month after hiring her.
2. Do something you’ve never done before
We’ve all heard the saying “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. That phrase can be applied to entrepreneurship. If you don’t like the results you are getting, then change what you are doing. I did a lot of things the first three years of entrepreneurship, and while they were good and helping me grow they weren’t quite getting me to where I wanted to be. So, I decided that if I wanted things to change I was going to have to change what I was doing. So I did. I made big changes that included hiring a coach and investing in a group program. If you want to achieve new things then be willing to do something new.
3. Transition from free to paid
You are probably wondering what this means. Well, it simply means that if you want to be a paid entrepreneur then you have to be willing to be an entrepreneur who pays. I spent the first two years taking advantage of “free” everything. But truth be told I never opted in for paid. The moment I realized the power of investing I never looked back. Be willing to pay for resources, tools, courses, coaching, branding, etc. Be wise about it, and be willing to invest where and when necessary.
These three things were huge game-changes for me and my business. They helped me accomplish my business dreams within five months! Those dreams included leaving my full-time job (happened in one month of me doing these things after trying for three years), reaching my goal-income (happened by month 3) and hiring my first employee (happened by month 5).
If I can do it, so can you! And if you feel ready to start implementing these changes so you can accomplish your business dreams, I want to invite you to check out the program below.
