Step 1: Show up Consistently
When was the last time you posted on social media? Sent an email to your email list? Did a Facebook live? No guilt or shame here! Just taking some inventory. It's SO important to show up and to do it time and time again if you want people to eventually buy from you. They want to know that you are reliable and that they can trust you! The best way to do that is to create a strategy that has you showing up consistently.
Step 2: Share your expertise freely
I remember following someone on social media who gave SO much free value that when she announced that she was going to be offering something I pulled my wallet out and was ready to buy it without even knowing what it was! The reality was that it didn't matter to me because she had given me so much free value that I was more than ready to pay her! Don't be afraid to share about your knowledge and expertise.
Step 3: Make it easy for people to buy from you
I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to buy something only to find that it is difficult to do so! Rule #1 in business: make it easy for people to buy from you! This means offer things consistently, make your services easy to find on your website, and make it easy for people to take action! I cant' tell you how many times I get to the bottom of a serving or landing page to find no call to action! After reading through and saying "yes, I want this!" I have no idea how to get it. Make it easy for people to buy and they will buy from you!
When you position yourself to show up consistently, share freely and convert easily you'll see an increase in sales, I guarantee it!
Does this mean you have to be online 24/7? No! The beauty of the online world is that there are tools to help you schedule your posts, batch create content, and give value in ways that have you show up without you having to always be there. That's one of my favorite things about running an online business!
